About us

German-Canadian Business Club Cologne

The German-Canadian Business Club Cologne is an informal club, without an association status and membership fees. A steering committee organises events. Those events usually take place at lunch time. If you are interested in Canada, you will receive from now on all invitations for upcoming events.

Focus of the presentations are the German-Canadian economic relations. We are trying to gain acting persons who can give an insider’s report on the work for German-Canadian companies. Last year we had presentations by the German Manager of the subsidiary Canadian company of Smart Technologies, the German CEO of the Canadian company ABEbooks and the manager of Lufthansa CityLine among others.

We would be happy to welcome you to one of the next German-Canadian Business Club event.

Intention

The German Canadian Business Club NRW has been founded in 1985. Its main goal is to promote the Canadian-German economical relationship.

It is a forum that offers great opportunities to meet and exchange experiences in the form of regular meetings and business luncheons with guest speakers.

The steering committee, under the direction of the managing partner of law firm and tax consulting firm Osborne Clarke Germany, Stefan Rizor, organizes, and directs the activities of the Club.

The membership of the club is open to all interested in economic and Canada; it is informal and without contributions.

The German Canadian Business Club is not limited to the Cologne/Bonn area; it has close relations with all regions in North Rhine-Westphalia, but also to the new “Bundesländer” as well as to the partner clubs in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Hamburg and Hessen.
