YTL Leaders Lounge 2021 – Webinar #1

28. Januar 2021, 18:3020:30

Dear DKG members,

We hope that you had a good start into the new year and you as well as your beloved ones are staying safe and healthy.

We would like to invite you to the first YTL Leaders Lounge in 2021. The Leaders Lounge is a monthly format in which German or Canadian leaders share their views on important issues of the time. The event will take place on January 28th, at 6.30 pm CET. The guests will be Michael Alberg-Seberich and Lisa Lalande.

Michael is managing partner at Wider Sense, a consulting firm based in Berlin, and the author of the book „The Corporate Social Mind: How Companies Lead Social Change from the Inside Out“. Lisa is CEO of the Century Initiative which stands up for a more diversified leadership culture in Canada. „Business as a whole, from research and innovation to marketing, can drive positive social change in society when it is integrated into the way we work.“ We will talk about what this means in practice and Michael will share some of the stories from his book. As a member of the Canada Meets Germany Alumni Forum e.V., Michael will also share his experience in Canada and his view on leadership.

Lisa is CEO at the Century Initiative, a registered charity that advocates for, and supports the development of policies and programs that would increase Canada’s population to 100 million by 2100. She regularly speaks about topics in the fields of philanthropy, social innovation and the social sector.
