YTL Leaders Lounge Webinar #3

We would like to invite you to the next YTL Leaders Lounge on March 25th at 6.30 pm (CET). The guest will be Yasir Naqvi (Chief Executive Officer, Institute for Canadian Citizenship; Former Attorney General of Ontario and patron of YTL). Yasir is a first-generation Canadian and recognized by his peers as a strong community leader. He can already refer to an extensive and interesting career. Before joining the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC), Yasir served as a Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for almost 11 years, representing a downtown, urban and diverse community in Ottawa, Ontario. In that time, he served as the Attorney General of Ontario, Government House Leader, the Minister of Labour, and the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services. He is the 2019 recipient of the Lincoln L. Alexander Award from the Law Society of Ontario. We would like to discuss with Yasir his career path, what he has learned in his work as a lawyer, politician, and CEO of a worldwide operating NGO. What advice can he share with young professionals, what are his key learnings, and what would he do differently?
