herzlich lade ich Sie zu einem exklusiven Coffee Talk am 21. April um 15.30 Uhr in den Industrie-Club Düsseldorf ein.

Gemeinsam mit Avondale Private Capital haben wir die Gelegenheit, Herrn Greg Donovan als Gesprächspartner zu begrüßen. Greg – zur Person siehe (1) – war viele Jahre als Volkswirt bei einer der größten kanadischen Banken tätig und bringt heute eine fundierte Perspektive auf makroökonomische Entwicklungen, Kapitalmärkte und internationale Handelsbeziehungen mit.

Im Rahmen eines ausgewählten Kreises möchten wir mit Ihnen die aktuelle wirtschaftliche Situation in Kanada, die Dynamik der transatlantischen Handelsbeziehungen sowie konkrete Implikationen für Investoren und Unternehmen diskutieren. Gerade vor dem Hintergrund zunehmender geopolitischer Verschiebungen gewinnt Kanada als stabiler und strategisch relevanter Partner weiter an Bedeutung – bis hin zum Interesse Kanada’s, Mitglied der Europäischen Union zu werden.

Together with Avondale Private Capital, we have the opportunity to welcome Mr. Greg Donovan as our guest speaker. Greg – see (1) for further background – worked for many years as an economist at one of Canada’s largest banks and today brings a well-founded perspective on macroeconomic developments, capital markets, and international trade relations.

In a carefully selected group, we would like to discuss with you the current economic situation in Canada, the dynamics of transatlantic trade relations, and the concrete implications for investors and businesses. Against the backdrop of increasing geopolitical shifts, Canada is gaining importance as a stable and strategically relevant partner – even extending to considerations of Canada seeking membership in the European Union.

The format is designed as a compact coffee talk and thrives on open exchange under the “Chatham House Rules.” Following a short keynote by Greg Donovan, the focus will be on discussion.
